Dukeries Garden Centre, The Harley Gallery

 

   

These are some of the photos I took during the visit to The Harley Visit.

I spent the day looking around the gallery and visiting the workshops of the artists.Talking to the artist gave me an insight into the life if being an independent working artist.

I also attented a talk presented by Rebbeca Wombell who is the Marketing Manager at The Harley Gallery on creative careers. There I learnt some tips on getting experience and building a portfolio to get a job in the creative industry.

Some artist and their workshops which particularly stood out to me where Phil Neal who is a sculptor and Alison Doxey who is a floral artist.
