Wednesday the 4th of February we are going on a outing to Liverpool.
Walker Gallery
The Blue Coat Centre
The International Slavery Museum
Tate Liverpool
Albert Docks
Crosby Beach.
One of the places we are visiting Liverpool Tate.
Transmitting Andy Warhol is currently there and I will more than likely go to this as his Magazine Interview(which I have researched into on a previous blog post) and his fashion illustration for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar are being shown there which I am very interesting in seeing as this ties into my Alice In Wonderland work.
The last place we will be visiting is Crosby Beach in Liverpool, Merseyside. The beach is home to 'Another Place' by Antony Gormley.
Another Place features 100 cast-iron life-sized figures which spread out aloud 3 kilometres of the foreshore and stretching almost 1 kilometres towards the sea.
Here is directions to each of the places we are going.
Here is a map showing the walk will be doing from each of the places:
I certify that the work submitted for this assignment is my own. I have clearly referenced any sources used in the work. I understand that false declaration is a form of malpractice.

Liverpool
These are some of the photos I took at Andy Warhols exhibition at Tate Liverpool.
I think this was my favourite part of the trip as it was most relevant to my own work.

In a dark room with disco ball separate to the rest of gallery there was a collection of images and videos being projected on the wall, they played on a loop and overlapped each other with Velvet Underground played in the background. I managed to get a picture of Dali which appeared on of the wall which showed him staring at the camera with his moustache twitching.

One of Wahols most famous pieces- Campbells condensed soup.

In one corner of the room was Warhol's magazine covers for Interview. They featured a number of iconic celebrities in a graphic style.

Ink blot test.
