Inspiration for one of our designs is to come from places/things in worksop and bassetlaw. I think its a great idea to base pr ideas on worksop so that when our designs are on the glass wall people who visit the bus station will recognised places. I think its also a great way to connect the new bus station to the rest of worksop which has been around for many years.
Firstly we have sherwood forest, which is famously known as the forest where Robin Hood lived.
Here we have the major oak. I think a depiction of this will make a really good design.
Next i have some photos from places in Worksop.
The market
The Savoy cinema , which is a fairly new addition to workshop. I love the iconic shape of this cinema and i think even a stylised design of this will be easily recognised by the people of worksop.
The train station, which is very import part of worksop as its rails connects worksop to yorkshire and the rest of nottinghamshire.
Lastly this is a sketch of the new bus station.
